52' Yamal strikes wide
Lamine Yamal has been heavily involved in the early stages of this second half, and the teenager finds some space on the edge of the penalty area.
He lashes his left-footed shot wide of the post but it will be a corner, with the ball skimming a Belgian boot on its way out.
The set piece is worked short and eventually ends at the feet of Dani Olmo at the edge of the penalty area.
His shot is well over the bar.

48' Yamal almost on the end of a defence splitter
Spanish central defender Pau Cubarsí conjures a wonderful defence-splitting pass and Lamine Yamal is through.
The teenager gets to it but Thibaut Courtois is out to smother.
The offside flag goes up anyway - but that was very tight.

We're back underway in Inglewood
And it's Spain, still a little shellshocked after conceding from just the sixth shot they've faced at this World Cup, pushing forward.
Marc Cucurella has a ball to run onto in the forward third, but he illegally brings down his marker and it's a Belgian freekick.

Greetings from Miami Beach
I’ve made it to Miami ahead of tomorrow’s quarter final between England and Norway.
The Norwegian fans have been having a great time so far, doing a public demonstration of the Viking row which everyone was clambering to get a good view of.
The England fans seem to be hiding out in the various pubs so far, I’m sure they’ll be swarming the streets soon enough.
And here’s my current view watching this game, not bad, not bad at all.

HT: Spain 1 -1 Belgium
(Getty Images)A thoroughly absorbing first half of football comes to an end.
Spain very clearly the dominant force in Los Angeles, but Belgium have done well to remain compact and were brilliant in taking their only real opportunity of the half.
Lamine Yamal looked threatening from the left and delighted the crowd with some otherworldly pieces of skill, but was largely restricted to half chances in that first half.
Dani Olmo found plenty of space in between the lines and was at the heart of most things good for the Spanish - I'd imagine Belgium will aim to get a little tighter on him after the break.
But for Belgium, that's an excellent half of football, with Charles De Ketelaere once again rising high to show why he's keeping Romelu Lukaku out of the side.

45' We're into five minutes of stoppage time
And it's Spain on the front foot, with Alex Baena fizzing in a corner from the left.
It isn't the greatest of deliveries, but the ball bounces out to Fabian Ruiz on the edge of the penalty area.
His shot is blocked.
We're halfway through five minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

43' Spain centre back carded
Pau Cubarsí is shown a yellow card for a cynical pull on the shorts of Kevin De Bruyne, who was breaking away.

41' Belgium level from nowhere!
(Getty Images)For the first time in what feels like hours, Belgium have some possession in Spanish territory.
And boy, do they make the most of it!
Timothy Castagne conjures an inch-perfect cross from the right and it's Charles De Ketelaere rising high, out-muscling his marker and heading home.
Great goal for Belgium.
Spain finally concede their first goal in North America.

39' Another chance for Lamal
Oh wow, Spain are really purring now.
Dani Olmo has plenty of space in the hole and is picking passes at will at the moment.
There is some lovely one-touch interplay on the edge of the penalty area, before the ball finds its way out to Lamine Yamal, who cuts in onto his left and fires the ball into the side netting.

34' More Yamal magic
He has the ball on a string at the moment.
Lamine Yamal picks the ball up from deep and cuts diagonally towards the penalty area, ghosting past a couple Belgium shirts in the process.
He's eventually brought down on the edge of the penalty area and it's a free kick.
Big chance here for Spain.
Lamal wraps his instep around the dead ball, but it's a weak shot, and an easy save for Thibaut Courtois.

30' Spain in front!
(Getty Images)And it's Fabian Ruiz!
The man brought into the starting lineup repays his manager's faith with a smart finish at the edge of the six-yard box.
Spain move the ball smoothly through midfield, stretching Belgium wide on the right, before working in a deft little cutback from the byline.
Dani Olmo is in space on the edge of the penalty area and the Barcelona midfielder tests Thibaut Courtois with a low shot.
It's a good parry from the Real Madrid custodian, but it's straight into the path of Ruiz, who taps the ball home.
Spain good value for their lead.

23' We're off for a drink

21' Lamal goes close
He's looking dangerous.
Lamine Yamal pops up on the edge of penalty area and uses his supreme elasticity to manufacture some space for a shot.
He whips the ball hard with his instep but can't find the target.

16' Oohs and ahs for Yamal
(Getty Images)We've been treated to our first piece of magic from Lamine Yamal, and how the Californian crowd enjoyed it, responding with oohs and ahs and a smattering of applause.
The Spanish teen sensation turns brilliantly in the centre of the park, ghosting through his marker and making his way forward.

13' Defence splitting pass from Spain
A little more direct from Spain this time, and to good effect.
A ball is lifted through from midfield and Alex Baena attempts a volley first time.
It's blocked from point blank range and off a Belgian body, but it's inexplicably given as a goal kick.

10' Dead ball chance for Spain
Lamine Yamal is hauled down on the edge of the penalty area and La Roja have their first real opportunity from the dead ball.
The cross is fizzed and low and half-cleared, but the ball makes its way back towards Rodri at the top of the box.
He catches his shot well but it's blocked.

6' Spain dominating the ball
Spain have settled very quickly in California, with the blond-haired Dani Olmo finding a bit of early space in between the lines.
He rolls a pass out to Lamine Yamal on the right, there's a sharp intake of breath, but the teenager can't quite get the ball under his spell.
Promising signs for La Roja.

We're underway in LA
Belgium, wearing their cream change kit, kick us off, and make their way forward immediately.
It's Hans Vanaken haring after the ball, but it beats him to the touchline.

We're moments away
It looks to be a stunning day in California.
The massive, circular jumbotron is jumbotronning high in the sky as the players make their way out onto the field.
Spain's Marcha Real, one of only three national anthem without official lyrics, echoes through the stadium, before La Brabançonne, one of the many anthems featuring lyrics, gets a play.
