It's a great chance too!

Otavia plays the ball out from in goal straight to the Sporting striker.

He takes a touch. Takes another touch as he races towards the centre of the edge of the penalty area, and blasts well over.

It's a bad miss.

Could he have taken it first time? Perhaps.

Brazil are back on level terms.

Pat Beach did well, guessed the right way (hey, who knew he could face a penalty?)

But Raphinha, after some dainty steps, slams the ball past him regardless.

2-2.

It is a penalty!

Pat Beach is up against Raphinha.

Harry Souttar has come across and clattered into Danilo.

It looked like a pretty clear penalty even from here, but the referee was unsighted it looked like, and he waves it away.

All the players stop play, so they all think it's a penalty and the Brazilians all crowd around him.

VAR is in use and the referee is being sent to the monitor.

Poor from Pat Beach!

He gets caught in possession and clears the ball only as far as Vinícius Júnior on the edge of the penalty area.

He shapes to shoot and takes too long, Harry Souttar comes back and blocks it behind.

Oh my, Tete Yengi goes down under a challenge from Gabriel Magalhães and, rather belatedly, the assist referee flags for a foul.

It's right in front of the Brazil bench and they are furious.

Carlo Ancelotti, Mr Unplacatable himself, is right up in the assistant's face, arguing his case.

Rattled?

I'd say so.

Brazil, who were sensational in the first 20 minutes - have dropped off a cliff.

CONNOR METCALF SCORES A STUNNER TO GIVE THE SOCCEROOS THE LEAD!

The ball deflected to Irankunda on half way and he linked up with Yengi.

It looked like the move had broken down a bit over on the left side with Metcalf linking up first with Italiano, then with Circati.

The second one-two with Circati saw Metcalf take a touch and then slam the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box.

It's a stunning goal.

The Socceroos lead.

Alessandro Circati has the ball in the back of the net!

He flicked up his boot behind him and its hit it, looped up into the back of the net!

But the flag is up for offside.

VAR is going to check this.

AND THEY SAY IT'S A GOAL!

The Socceroos are level!

Circati was offside, but the flick on in the middle was off a Brazilian head so the goal stands!

Circati gets to the byline this time and delivers a cross that hits the side netting, but got a deflection and it's a corner.

It was good, bustling play in the midfield from the Socceroos.

Good work from Italiano to race onto a through ball and win a corner off the backtracking Brazilian defence.

The corner is swept in by Connor Metcalf, and Brazil have to head the ball off the line!

Great ball!

It comes back to Metcalf but this time Brazil clear more confidently.

Lovely link up play going forward from Yengi, who plays in Nestory Irankunda.

Irankunda cuts back inside off his left foot and goes down - it looked like a foul from our position in level four of the stadium, but the referee, who was a lot closer, says no.

Perhaps he felt that Irankunda looked for it a bit?

Still, there was contact.

Bit a very uncharacteristic poor touch from Vinícius Júnior when he was baring down on goal lets the Socceroos off the hook.

Vinícius is furious with himself, but that was very disappointing from the undoubted star of this team.

Lovely ball forward over the top from Irvine, who had to show quick feet to get the ball over the top.

Nestory Irankunda raced through behind the defensive line, but Jair managed to get there first and Irankunda has stayed down after he slid and fell trying to reach the ball.

Lovely football from the Socceroos, brave, moving the ball left and then back right where Irvine drives towards the edge of the penalty area down the right.

He passes to Yengi, who controls but then can't get a shot away.

Nestory Irankunda wins the ball back in midfield and embarks on a powerful run towards goal.

He looks like he can't quite decide whether to have a shot or lay the ball off for Yengi, and gets dispossessed.

This is a very different Brazil to what we saw in Townsville.

They are attacking at will and Rayan, who scored that late equaliser on Friday, unleashed from a long way out.

It sails well over the bar though.

Brazil should have had another one!

They are cutting Australia apart here.

Raphinha got the ball in the attacking third and powered towards goal, firing towards Beach, who saved with his shoulder.

Then the ball went back to Raphinha who shot slow and saw the ball saved really well by Beach.

Brazil have come to play.
