Beauty tech has taken off in a huge way over the recent years, with countless different new and trending devices now available to give you a spa-worthy facial from your own home. However an LED mask is one device that’s become a staple, and almost every beauty fan has added one into their regular rotation.

But if you haven’t tried one yet, now is the time to get your hands on one without breaking the bank. LookFantastic’s summer beauty sale is now live, and the Foreo FAQ 201 LED Mask has been slashed by 50%, bringing it down from £449 to £224.50.

As well as the £224.50 saving, the mask is a great buy if you want an all-rounder which offers multiple different LED light colours. You can swap the Foreo FAQ 201 LED Mask between red, blue and green LED colours which each target a different skin concern, and it features 600 carefully-placed bulbs to make sure your full face is covered.

The red light setting will reduce the signs of ageing to help keep skin looking more youthful, whilst blue LED is great for reducing the appearance of imperfections like breakouts and discolouration. Finally the green LED setting can be used to brighten and even out skin tone, and the mask also emits a gentle heat as you wear it, which temporarily dilates the pores to make the LED more efficient.

The Foreo FAQ 201 LED Mask is made with a soft, flexible silicone which fits around the contours of your face for a comfortable fit, and it’s hands-free and wireless so you can easily use it anywhere and any time. It only has a 15 minute treatment time too, so it’s perfect for squeezing in a quick session while you watch TV, wind down for bed, or even do the dishes.

If you want something straightforward and simple, the C-Wave Light Facial Mask from Beauty Pie is a great alternative. It only offers red and infrared light options, with its main aim to tackle signs of ageing and skin elasticity, but is also more affordable at just £169 (or £120 if you’re a Beauty Pie member).

However if you want your LED mask to have a few more bells and whistles, now is a great chance to snap up the Shark CryoGlow Under-Eye Cooling & LED Anti-Ageing & Blemish Repair Mask as Boots has just slashed it from £299.99 to £279. As well as offering multiple LED colour options, it also uses InstaChill Cold Technology to de-puff, chill and soothe skin, tighten up your under-eyes, and reduce the appearance of texture, blemishes and uneven skin tone.

But LookFantastic shoppers have been raving about the Foreo FAQ 201 LED Mask, with one reviewer writing: “So delighted with this product, ease of use and my skin is looking brighter just after a few weeks.”

Another agreed: “I bought on sale - amazing deal. Being consistent I do see improvement of my skin. I have rosacea [so] I do swap red and blue light. It takes only 15 mins.”

Whilst a third added: “Very light, very flexible and I'm in love with this mask and how it took a few weeks to lose the dullness of my skin. I find very good that I can switch the lights manually, but the app makes it even easier.”

However one did write: “Got it as a gift about a month ago. Overall it’s alright, it’s comfortable to use without a cable attached to it. Unfortunately the quality was not as good as I expected… Silicone on the top part of the battery has detached a bit after a first (?!) use :( It’s still usable, but it’s not that comfortable anymore, the quality should be better for the price. Can’t really say anything about the effects yet, since I’m using it for short time.”
