This Morning presenter Josie Gibson is "rebuilding her relationship" with her son Reggie's dad so they can figure out how to co-parent him in the "best way" possible

Josie Gibson is "rebuilding her relationship" with her son Reggie's dad - seven years on from their split. The TV star, 41, gave birth to son Reggie, now seven, just four months before she and Terry Bond called time on their relationship.

Now, the This Morning star, who doesn't normally comment on her private life, has revealed that she and Terry are trying to get along so they can co-parent their son in the way that is best for his future, and has ruled out the idea of introducing a new man into Reggie's life.

She said: "We’re trying to build our relationship back to best co-parent Reggie and create a stable life for our son. I don’t want different men around my son, I’m really funny about things like that. I would never let Reg see me with a man. I’ve been asked to do dating shows and I’ve turned them down."

Josie shot to fame when she won Big Brother in 2011 and has gone on to become one of the most familiar faces on television since, and during her time in the public eye, she has learned to keep her guard up more than she did when she first became well-known.

Speaking to The Sun, she added: "I used to be really soft-hearted, but people took the mick. They take your kindness for weakness. I used to give a lot more people access to my life, and now I don't. I don't let people in at all."

In 2023, it was rumoured that Josie had started dating This Morning cameraman Sam Morter, but she publicly denied the claims as she insisted that their relationship was simply of a platonic nature.

In March this year, it was thought that Josie might have actually found love on the This Morning set, after hosting a segment with farrier Sam Wolfenden. But in a surprising twist, just days later, it emerged that Sam was not single at all and is engaged to his childhood sweetheart Grace Richardson, with the pair sharing a young child together.

At the time, a source said: "They’ve been together forever. Grace is a stay-at-home mum to their daughter and co-owns their farrier business. But you won’t see any mention of them on his social media!"

Just days ago, Josie revealed that she has hopes to foster children at some point in the fture. Talking children and where she sees her life going with Closer Magazine, she said: "If I'd met the right man, I probably would have had about 10. I would love to foster.

Josie's first public relationship was with fellow Big Brother contestant John James Parton. After the show, they moved in together but soon parted ways. She later got engaged to plumber Luke Sanwo in 2012, however, it wasn't meant to be.

Josie said at the time: "The passion has been slowly drifting and now it's pretty much non-existent. I feel like it's the right thing to do at the moment."

The presenter has also been open about her dating priorities, revealing previously: "Where would I fit them in because I'm either at work or I'm looking after my little boy? The thing is, I'm only doing it one time. So if I date somebody, that's time I'm taking away from my little boy and I want to spend as much time as humanely possible with him."
