Jamie Oliver revealed an air fryer hack that'll transform your cooking routine, and it requires merely a few seconds' adjustment.
The celebrity chef shared this clever technique on his Facebook page where he announced: "This is how you take your air fryer to the next level." In a brief 30-second clip, Jamie walks viewers through an easy method to boost their air fryer's capability every time they switch it on. He explained: "Me and my team pushed the air fryer to its limit - and one of those ways was having thinned cooking of the top of that little tray and having other things reheating at the bottom." Showcasing a delicious sweet potato creation, Jamie demonstrates placing herbs and spices at the bottom of the air fryer, then slots the tray back in and places the sweet potato on top.
Using this approach, he prepares two separate items at once - serving both effectively without additional time or energy consumption.
He shared: "But if you think about having meat or fish [dripping] onto beans, chickpeas, tomatoes [below], you can really max out flavour and efficiency really fast."
Followers are absolutely delighted with the post, as one declared: "Just cooked the salmon with salsa dish for our evening meal it was delicious."
Another fan added: "Awesome. Cooking in layers. I use mine a lot mostly meats potatoes." While a third said: "Top stuff again, Jamie."
A further user contributed their culinary triumph and commented: "I have a shelf style air fryer and love it."
Completing the suggestion, someone said: "Just bought some air fryers for school and your book arrived yesterday... it's beautiful. Looking forward to trying out some of your dishes."
This wave of culinary tips follows celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay sharing his expert advice for producing the perfect crispy fried egg with a wonderfully runny yolk, packed with flavour.
The experienced cook suggests starting with a knob of butter in your frying pan, letting it melt, then reducing the heat and adding a sprinkle of salt and pepper before carefully cracking in the egg.
The mixture of butter and seasonings will serve as a basting liquid, locking in all those mouthwatering flavours.
Once your egg reaches the skillet, increase the temperature and wait patiently for the edges to begin bubbling and crisping.
For those who desire an additional punch, Gordon recommends a pinch of chilli flakes, though that's entirely down to individual taste.
This is where the transformation occurs: grab a spoon and carefully drizzle that melted butter and spice combination over the yolk, enhancing the flavour and ensuring the egg cooks uniformly.
In one of his renowned YouTube guides, Ramsay demonstrated: "All I do now is literally get the butter, shake that [pan] gently, and just baste the egg whites around the yolk. And that helps cook."
He continued: "Sometimes, with that raw egg white near the yolk, it can feel a bit icky, but the best trick is to use the spoon and lavish your egg with it. Check that out – the blistering look is incredible."
Ramsay went on: "Now bring [the pan] onto a cold surface that'll help separate, and then underneath, if you want your eggs over easy, you flip that. I like my yolk really nice and runny.
"When we come to serve, use a spatula to drain off your egg. And there we have a beautiful, stunning, delicious fried egg.
"Runny yolk, nice crispy delicious egg white and when you finish it with that little touch of chilli flake it elevates that amazing flavour."
