Dust and debris filled an Iranian state television studio as the building was hit by an Israeli airstrike during a live broadcast on Monday, sending the anchor running for cover. Sahar Emami, an anchor at the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network, was seen hurrying off-camera during the broadcast. The station later said the building was hit by four bombs. Israel’s defence minister took immediate credit for the attack, claiming the building also served as a communications centre that served the armed forces. A spokesperson for the Iranian foreign minister condemned the strike.
