Pickled cucumbersInternational purchases of imported pickles totaled US$1.1 billion in 2025.
The overall cost of imported pickles increased by an average 39% for all importing countries since 2021 when international purchases of pickles cost $775.6 million.
Year over year, globally imported pickles accelerated by 12.2% compared to $960.8 million during 2024.
The top 5 buyer countries of imported pickles are Germany, United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom then the Netherlands. Collectively, those 5 major importers accounted for 43.7% of international spending on pickles in 2025.
Applying a continental lens, European countries bought the highest dollar worth of imported pickles during 2025 with purchases costing $675.3 million or approaching two-thirds (62.7%) of the global total.
