The Karnataka government effected a minor reshuffle in the senior bureaucracy, assigning additional responsibilities to several IAS officers, and transferring one officer to the Social Welfare Department.

According to a notification issued on June 10 by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), Anjum Parwez, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, has been given concurrent charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department, following the transfer of Amlan Aditya Biswas.

Rajender Kumar Kataria, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department, has been entrusted with concurrent charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.

Mohan Raj K.P., Secretary, Housing Department, has been transferred, and posted as Secretary, Social Welfare Department, relieving Randeep D. of the additional charge. He will, however, continue to hold concurrent charge as Secretary, Housing Department until further orders.

Selvamani R., Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, has been assigned concurrent charge as Managing Director of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), replacing Akram Pasha.

Dr. Mahesh M., an IAS officer of the 2017 batch who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Managing Director of the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board to fill an existing vacancy.
