“Most of the time I was thinking that, OK, it’s done — I’m going to die.” This Iranian-Canadian asked Global News not to identify her over fears speaking publicly could endanger her family in Iran as the regime launches its latest attack on dissidents. “This war... is getting worse and worse. People are getting scared and hopeless,” she says as she recounts how she was able to escape the country.
