Hundreds gather for funeral of correctional officer Nicolae Serban
One of two regimental funerals took place on Saturday for Nicolae Serban.
He and his colleague, Ramandeep Kaur Maan, died in a crash at the start of August.

They were transporting an inmate, Keira Mooswa, from the Edmonton Institute for Women when the collision happened.
Moosa was also killed.
Roughly 200 people attended the funeral. Former co-workers, friends and dignitaries shared memories of Serban while honouring his name with kind words about his character.
The regimental funeral for Maan is set to be held on Sunday.
