The release date for House of the Dragon: The Complete Third Season was announced today for its release on digital and on 4K UHD Steelbook, 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD.

Following its June premiere, the third season reached more than 17 million global viewers, continuing its run as one of HBO’s top-performing returning series. With this release, fans can experience every unbelievable episode from the third season along with hours of bonus content, including behind-the-scenes featurettes and eight exclusive extended episodes. The season featured breathtaking battles, political intrigue, and unforgettable performances as the Dance of the Dragons reaches new heights. In King’s Landing, Aegon II rules from the Iron Throne with the support of Alicent, the Green Council, and the mightiest dragon in Westeros. Meanwhile, from Dragonstone, Queen Rhaenyra and her Black Council prepare for the battles ahead. – At the beginning of the season, Aegon has fled King’s Landing, and Alicent has secretly plotted for Rhaenyra to take the throne.

It’s based on George R.R. Martin‘s Fire & Blood. With Ryan Condal Co-Creating alongside his duties as Showrunner and Executive Producer. He’s joined as Co-Creator/Executive Producer by George R.R. Martin. Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett are also Executive Producers.
