Holly Willoughby has said she considered having a fourth child as she admitted she was “jealous” when comedienne Katherine Ryan announced her pregnancies.

The TV star, 45, is mother to Harry, 17, and Chester, 10, and daughter Belle, 15, with TV producer husband Dan Baldwin. Speaking on her new YouTube series Holly Willoughby Together, the former ITV star admitted she was tempted to add to her own family when Katherine revealed she was expecting.

Katherine has son Fred, three, daughter Fenna, two, and baby Holland, eight months, with husband Bobby Koostra – and is also mother to teenager Violet from a previous relationship.

Discussing her children growing up, Katherine said: “I feel the pulling away and I find it really hard. My kids are the best thing that I’ve done, I look at them and think ‘well done’, they are pretty brilliant but they are getting pretty teenager-y.”

When Katherine suggested she should have another baby, Holly replied: “I feel like that ship has sailed. When I heard you were pregnant I was like ‘Maybe I should.’ I was so jealous you were doing it.”

During the 46-minute episode, the duo drank rose wine and Katherine told her: “I’m excited to drink wine with you, because when we see you and some of your work, you’re not that drunk." Holly replied: “I have been drunk for quite a lot of it, it has happened.

“There has been crossovers, sometimes it’s been necessary, sometimes.” Holly and her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield famously hosted the flagship ITV show while apparently still drunk the morning after the National Television Awards in 2016.

During her conversation with Katherine , Holly admitted that her TV career has left her afraid to say anything controversial for fear of “backlash”.

She said: “You’re very open and you’re very honest and you say exactly how you feel – and I love that. I’m so terrified to have an opinion on anything.”

When Katherine asked her: “Do you think that’s been, for lack of a better term, groomed into you because of the very high profile jobs that you’ve had?,” Holly replied: “Maybe. I definitely don’t like upsetting anybody.

“I think I’ve always been like that. I do think that the nature of what I do, you like to see both sides of anything, of any argument and then what happens is you end up not really having an opinion on anything because you see the both sides of everything, which is tricky.

“And also I think I’m probably so terrified to say anything wrong, because if you get it wrong the backlash is so huge, right?”

She later continued: “I think it’s the fear of suddenly it just going whoosh.

“I remember we would always say this, when somebody is going through something and they’re in the spotlight in the media and it suddenly turns on them we’d go ‘Don’t worry, it’ll be somebody else tomorrow.’

“It’ll be somebody else tomorrow, I know that. But it’s like a really horrendous game of pass the parcel, you’re waiting for it to land on you, but instead of it opening up and it being a present, you open it up and it’s like someone s*** in your hands.”

Katherine replied; “‘It’ll be someone else tomorrow’ is ominous. No-one should say that. And you’ve been very close to a few things, so I get why you feel that way.”
