Over the next eight days—between now and Giving Day (April 14)—your gift will help World Literature Today (wlt) further its mission: to serve students and readers everywhere with outstanding, timely coverage of world literature and culture. For 100 years and counting, WLT has been a window to the world, providing what Maya Angelou once called “absolutely the most welcome reading I’ve found in years.”
Here’s how you can help us reach our $10,000 goal:
For a $25 gift, you will receive a one-year subscription to the digital edition of World Literature Today magazine.
With your $50 donation, in addition to a one-year digital subscription, we’ll send you a set of limited-edition postcards that feature quotable quotes from recent WLT contributors: 2024 Nobel Prize winner Han Kang, 2025 Puterbaugh Fellow Guadalupe Nettel, 2024 Neustadt Prize laureate Ananda Devi, 2023 NSK Prize winner Gene Yang, and award-winning Turkish writer Elif Shafak.
For a $100 gift, WLT will donate a copy of A Compass on the Navigable Sea, the brand-new WLT centennial anthology, to a student, school library, or public library of your choice (U.S. addresses only).
With your $250 donation, you can give or receive a one-year subscription to the print edition of the magazine (U.S. addresses only), a set of postcards, and a copy of A Compass on the Navigable Sea.
We are also participating in two challenges:
From 1:00-2:00am cdt , the Farthest Gift from Norman hourly challenge (with a special appeal to our readers in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia)
Throughout the day, the OU Faculty/Staff: Most Gifts mega challenge
Visit givesooner.org to help us raise $10,000 in 24 hours! Click on the “Make a Gift” button and enter “World Literature Today” in the search funds field. Gifts in any amount are welcome.
