Iran has fired a salvo of missiles in Qatar targeting the US air base situated in the country. Tehran says the attack is in retaliation for the US bombing of three of its nuclear sites on Sunday morning. These are some of the interceptions seen over the skies of the Qatari capital Doha. The Al Udeid base in Qatar is the largest US air base in the Middle East Qatar's ministry of defence has released a statement following the Iranian strike on US base. Qatar says its air defences intercepted missiles targeting the Al Udeid Air Base. It continued saying the incident didn't result in any deaths or injuries. The ministry says Qatar's airspace and territory are safe.
