The Feedback Pneuma CC floor pump is a sleek, extra-long, high-pressure floor pump with a hidden charge tank for seating stubborn tubeless tires, and it’s excellent. Don’t let its compact design and “high pressure” nomenclature fool you, this thing has become my all-around pump for everything from road to gravel to mountain bike.

If you’re looking for one floor pump to do everything, here’s why this is a solid option…

Features & Specs

The Pneuma CC has an upside down design, putting the outer cylinder on top, with an oversized air shaft. The latter is a counterintuitive design for a “high pressure” pump that typically relies on smaller diameter tubes to move a little bit of air at a lot of pressure, but somehow it works.

My hunch is some of that volume is taken up by the secondary charging chamber, because this pump remains easy to cycle up to about 100psi.

One weird aspect of this design is that you can’t just grab it by the handle to pick it up. Do so and it’ll just lift the shaft, making it really tall. The trick is to grab the hose, too. There’s a learning curve, and I promise, you’ll end up extending it as you move it from one tire to the next, but after a few times it becomes muscle memory. Mostly.

The upside is that there’s a really long stroke, so taller riders can move a lot of air per pump if you bring it all the way up. Also, note the hose length…it’s plenty long enough (39.4”/1000mm) to reach a bike high up in a workstand.

The oversized 4″ gauge is super easy to read, with the numbers that matter nowadays larger for easier reference.

Worth noting that, even if you’re still pumping your tires up to 100+ psi (why?), there’s plenty of bandwidth past that for the pressure spikes happening on each downstroke, so you shouldn’t damage the internals even with vigorous pumping.

Also worth noting, pumps are typically designed for “high pressure” or “high volume”. This one is billed as a high-pressure pump, with a gauge to match, but it’s worked really well for me across all of my bikes, including mountain bikes with 29×2.4″ and 2.6″ tires. It’s also accurate at lower (MTB, Gravel) pressures within 0.5psi based on my own checks with a digital pressure gauge.

Another nice touch? The pump head is long, making it easier to press onto and pull off of valve stems.

Why I Like the Pneuma CC

I’ve used a few different “charger” style floor pumps, a category that includes a chamber that can pump up to higher pressures for quickly inflating tubeless tires to help seat them during installation. All of them use a much larger diameter tube, sometimes with an external secondary tube, which takes up a lot of extra space, particularly when traveling with the pump.

The Pneuma CC is minuscule, looks like a standard pump, yet it seated everything I’ve tested it on – road, 50mm gravel tires, and 2.6″ mountain bike tires. That’s impressive considering the tank has to be half the size of other charger pumps.

It’s even more impressive because it has the same upper limit for the charger tank, around 140psi. I easily pumped it up to 140psi in only nine pumps! Compare that to 30 or 40 or more pumps required to fully charge larger pumps, and this one saves a lot of time.

Getting to ~156psi takes only one more pump, but it requires some body weight and real effort. Accomplishing that reveals my only real complaint about this pump – I wish it had an alloy handle, as its plastic handle starts to feel questionable on those last two high-pressure pumps.

The other key difference with the Pneuma is that you switch between pumping and charging and releasing with a simple foot lever. It’s easy to actuate while pumping, so you can go from charging straight to pumping with a flick of your toes. That’s sometimes key for maintaining momentum from the charge to quickly seat tire beads that are hesitant to “pop” onto the rim.

MSRP is $150, on par with other high-end and charger pumps. I’ve been using this pump since it launched in Summer 2025 and it’s been flawless. I love the slim profile, versatility, and charger function. Given that Feedback’s designs remain constant for years (if it ain’t broke…), I’m confident that should the time come to refresh it, parts will be readily available, too. Highly recommend it.
