Endrick is set to remain at Real Madrid this season despite interest from a number of European clubs including Aston Villa, according to The Athletic.

The Brazilian youngster had been strongly linked with a loan exit from the Bernabeu, with Unai Emery’s Villa reported to be long-term admirers who were exploring a potential move.

But Endrick, who enjoyed a promising loan at Ligue 1 side Lyon last term, is now set to remain with Los Blancos and will enjoy more of a first-team role under Jose Mourinho.

The former Palmeiras youngster is set to have more opportunities on the right-hand side this season, with Mourinho not viewing Bernardo Silva or Federico Valverde as regular options there.

He can also operate as an alternative central striker option to Kylian Mbappe and new signing Carlos Espi.

Endrick could still leave in January, according to the report, just as he did last season when he scored eight goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.

Overall, he has featured 40 times for Madrid since joining for €35million in 2023, scoring seven times.
