Emmerdale fans have been left gobsmacked after spotting Dr Todd star Caroline Harker in an iconic 1990s show.
Dr. Todd (Caroline Harker) has been causing plenty of drama in the village recently. At first, she made medical student Jacob Sugden's (Joe-Warren Plant) work a living nightmare.
Not only did she push him to his absolute limits, but she also gaslit him, calling him out over his mistakes. Dr. Todd then turned her attention to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and blackmailed her for weeks over the true parentage of Leyla Sugden.
The evil doctor demanded £100,000 from the Woolpack co-owner, leaving Charity feeling desperate. Then, things took a horrifying turn when Dr. Todd sexually assaulted Charity.
Although she was reported to the police, they didn't have enough evidence to keep her in.
Recently, though, at the end of an episode, a flash-forward scene aired, showing Dr. Todd lying on the floor in a pool of blood, as if someone had killed the villain.
As for actress Caroline Harker, she is no stranger to appearing on screens. Her acting credits include ITV dramas Joan, Harry Enfield and Chums, Holding On, and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
She also starred on rival soap Coronation Street as a defense barrister. Alicia Davenport back in 2012. The actress appeared at the trial of Frank Foster (Andrew Lancel) for the rape of Carla Connor (Alison King).
But it is her role in the crime drama series A Touch of Frost. that has recently got fans talking. Caroline played Hazel in the show, which ran from 1992 until it was axed in 2010.
Reacting to a photo of Caroline and her Emmerdale co-star Zoe Henry on A Touch of Frost, one person said on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page: “That’s where I recognise Todd from it’s been baffling me.”
Someone else added: “Wow, she looks so different now.” A third chimed in: “Caroline Harker was great in Touch of Frost!!” Another fan wrote: “Still a pair of beauties.”
Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 8:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX
