Disney+ has revealed the trailer for The Land, the latest project from creator Dan Fogelman (Paradise, This Is Us).

The story follows Cleveland Browns’ head coach Danny Roarke, who, after several disappointing seasons, has one last chance to turn around his football team. His fate rests on his newly drafted Ohio State quarterback, who happens to be his son. Meanwhile, the owner, Hal Durkin, must decide which of his two daughters is best equipped to take over the team. The story follows two families as high-stakes drama plays out not only on the field but also in the front offices of this NFL franchise, while a loyal fanbase wants a winning season now … or face big changes if they don’t.

It will be interesting to see the latest take on NFL-related drama. It’s not the first time that a studio has focused on the Cleveland Browns either, with Draft Day hitting the screens in 2014 starring Kevin Costner and a pre-Marvel Chadwick Boseman. They’re historically one of the weaker teams in the league, so must be the first choice to focus on for all writers as a result!
