Only hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a warning that Russia was preparing another strike, Moscow followed through with an air assault that not only killed civilians but also allegedly violated NATO territory. Following Russia’s onslaught, Polish authorities found scattered debris and a crater measuring about 10 metres wide in a field located just over 100 kilometres from the Ukrainian border. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has condemned the strikes, calling the apparent incursion into Polish territory unjustifiable, while promising to work with impacted NATO allies.
