At one such press meet Wednesday, a presentation by Administrative Reforms Secretary V Srinivas took Personnel Minister Jitendra Singh down memory lane. The secretary included a collage of photos of the minister attending department events over 11 years, remarking that changes could be noticed. The minister said he had expected the presentation to be about the “changing face” of the department but it ended up including his own changing face.

Seminars on caste census, health camps and cake-cutting ceremonies — the Congress will organise several programmes across the country Thursday to mark the birthday of Rahul Gandhi. The party’s youth wing in Uttarakhand is adding its own sweet touch. It will run a ‘mohabbat ki dukan’ in Dehradun that will serve commuters sharbat throughout the day. Gandhi had coined the phrase ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
