A viral video showing a group of men dancing to loud music inside a cave in Dehradun has drawn sharp criticism online, with users calling out what they described as a lack of civic sense at a shared tourist spot.The clip, shared on X by an account named @himalayanhindu, was reportedly filmed at Gucchu Paani in Uttarakhand’s capital. It shows the men singing and dancing as they make their way through a section of the cave filled with knee-deep water.

One of them can be seen carrying a large speaker, with music playing loudly as the group moves through the cave. The video also shows them blasting a Haryanvi song on the speaker titled "Lofar They Haryana Ke" as they danced.

The video has garnered over 404,000 views.The footage prompted several users to criticise the behaviour, with many arguing that visitors should be more mindful of other people and the natural surroundings at tourist destinations.One user wrote, “There is no logic to blame a state, morons are everywhere in our country. Need to deal with them with iron fist ‘on the spot’.”Another user commented, “It is Nothing but mental disease of superiority complex.”

“It is infuriating to see these specimens. They cannot even enjoy the place and neither will they allow others to enjoy as well. You need to listen to nature, not blast your nonsense music everywhere,” wrote a user.One user went further, alleging broader misconduct by people behaving in this manner. “They eve tease women and if someone ressists they will attack like a pack of wild dogs. And when they get beaten start crying about how people discriminate them,” the user wrote.

Another criticised not only the people seen in the video but also those supporting their behaviour online. “Zero civic sense in people in this video and people defending this in the comments,” the user wrote.

No police action has been reported so far, and there has been no official word from local authorities on the video.
