The initial public offering (IPO) of edtech firm Crizac opened on Wednesday (July 2), oversubscribed on Thursday, the second day of the bidding process.

According to data from the BSE, the issue booked 2.75 times and received bids for 7,09,51,174 shares out of the 2,58,36,909 shares available on Thursday.

Category-wise, the non-institutional investor category saw 6.28 times subscription, while the retail Retail subscribed 2.72 times, While, the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) segment received 15 per cent subscription.

On the first of the bidding process, the issue witnessed a subscription of 46 per cent. The IPO received bids for 1,17,61,654 shares out of the 2,58,36,909 shares available.

Here's a summary of the first day bidding process:

  • HNI: 62 per cent
  • Retail: 59 per cent
  • QIB: per cent

On Tuesday ahead of its IPO opening, Crizac announced that it had raised Rs 258 crore from anchor investors.

The IPO will close on July 4.

The edtech company has fixed the price band between Rs 233 and Rs 245 per share.

This IPO is a complete offer for sale (OFS) of equity shares worth Rs 860 crore.

Equirus Capital and Anand Rathi Advisors are the lead managers for the IPO, while has appointed as registrar MUFG Intime India.

Shares of Crizac likely to debut on both BSE and NSE on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Kolkata-based B2B edtech platform operates as a B2B that connects agents and global institutions. The firm offers international student recruitment services to higher education institutions in countries such as the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
