Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayConservative MPs blasted the Liberals on Tuesday during question period in the House of Commons over their lack of accountability after a scathing Auditor General report that included the company behind the controversial ArriveCan app. Canada’s auditor general says federal organizations failed to follow procurement and security rules when awarding contracts to GC Strategies — the company behind the controversial ArriveCan app. Prime Minister Mark Carney tried to distance his government from the report saying that “as a member of Canada’s new government and a new member of parliament, we will uphold higher standards.” Conservative MP Larry Brock said many who were part of the ArriveCan app continue to be Carney’s new government — “the jobs minister, the U.S. trade minister, and his foreign affairs minister — their lack of ministerial responsibility is both negligent and inexcusable.” Meanwhile, Conservative MP Jamil Jivani focused on housing. “Liberals have spent over $300 million on a housing program, claiming they would build 4,000 units. In seven years, they’ve built 309… They’ve missed the mark by 93 per cent… How can (Carney) have the minister responsible for this failure in his cabinet? And how can he promote that failed minister to now be our minister of justice?
