As another heatwave hits the UK this week, fashion fans will be looking for ways to stay cool without compromising on style. With that in mind, we've spotted a pair of Boden trousers that shoppers have hailed as 'heatwave saviours' - and they're currently on sale.

The Double Cloth Crop Trousers have been reduced from £65 to £32.50, saving shoppers £32.50. Available in four versatile colours, the trousers are made from lightweight cotton double cloth, a fabric prized for its breathability and comfort during warm weather.

The subtle cropped length gives them a relaxed, holiday-ready feel while helping to keep legs cool. The elasticated waistband also offers a comfortable, flexible fit that's ideal for everything from sightseeing to garden parties or everyday errands.

Meanwhile, Roman's Cropped Stretch Trouser (£24) is another popular pick. These comfy capri trousers are cut from a buttery bengaline fabric, and come in more than 30 colours.

Back to Boden; the Double Cloth Crop Trousers have had some great reviews from shoppers. This person shared: "Cool, wash and dry very easily, heatwave saviours. True to size. Going to try putting a couple of single stitches to anchor the twisting elastic inside the waistband."

Meanwhile, a second piped up: "Comfortable, nice colour, good for summer - can dress down or up based on the shirt you put on." And a third said: "Great material and fit for this hot weather."

However, this mixed review reads: "Perfect light trousers for the summer, they are marketed as cropped although I found them just the right length at 5' 2.

"The only negative is the elastic waistband where the elastic keeps twisting in the seam and is difficult to straighten out as it's concealed."

On a brighter note, this Boden devotee said: "So smart and yet super comfortable to wear. Cool, and they don't crease. I wore them for travelling by air on a city break, and they were very useful!
