It’s a children’s toy, but it’s now become one of the hottest accessories for Blue Jays fans. A dragon on a stick, called the ‘Flaming Dragon Ride-on,’ has taken over Toronto’s fan base, becoming the team’s unofficial good luck charm during a series in San Francisco earlier this month. “We were completely shocked at first, we’ve always had this around, but then there was a peak of interest in one evening and we did a bit more research and it wasn’t until a local customer came-in and told us it was related to the Blue Jays that this was a big trend that was beginning,” said Lyn Wottam of the ‘Rocking Horse’ toy shop in Kingston, Ont.
