B.C. officials are conducting rapid damage assessments in the neighbourhoods affected by the Bald Range wildfires. The blaze near Summerland is still burning out of control at more than 19 thousand hectares, which is comparable to one and a half times the size of Vancouver. Still an active fire zone, there is no timeline on when 12,000 Summerland residents and thousands of others from the surrounding area will be allowed to return. "In this particular fire, it was just unbelievable that so many people got displaced in a moment's notice," Penticton Indian Band Chief Greg Gabriel said. Darya Zargar has more.
