Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the attack a “bold decision” that will “change history” while Iran has promised to respond to what it has called a “grave violation” of international law. Meanwhile, the international community is calling for de-escalation and a return to the negotiating table. The Iranian regime is reportedly considering a wide range of possible targets as it weighs response to the U.S. strikes, including U.S. military bases. It is also considering closing the Strait of Hormuz – a critical choke point for oil supplies.
