In the wake of the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday, both Iran and Israel have intensified attacks on each other. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the attack a “bold decision” that will “change history” while Iran has promised to respond to what it has called a “grave violation” of international law. Meanwhile, the international community is calling for de-escalation and a return to the negotiating table. The Iranian regime is reportedly considering a wide range of possible targets as it weighs response to the U.S. strikes, including U.S. military bases. It is also considering closing the Strait of Hormuz – a critical choke point for oil supplies.
