Dipke has also demanded that Kumar be booked for a criminal offence and called for greater transparency in the appointment of the CEC, including the involvement of civil society."Appointment of CEC should be transparent; there should be involvement of civil society," Dipke said in Mumbai. The party has accused the Election Commission of undermining voters’ rights and said the protest would continue until Kumar resigns. These are allegations made by the CJP."The protest will begin at Shivaji Park tomorrow, and from there, we will take this protest to the entire country. We will ultimately end it only when Gyanesh Kumar resigns," Dipke said.
