NEW DELHI: A 31-year-old software engineer was allegedly beaten to death by his wife’s family following a matrimonial dispute in outer Delhi’s Nihal Vihar Friday.Police have detained four people.The engineer, Vinay Gupta, was a resident of Laxmi Park. He had married a 31-year-old woman from Budh Vihar about three-and-a-half years ago. The couple has twins — a boy and a girl — who are about four months old.Police said the dispute between the couple started Friday morning. The woman called her family over. They reached Gupta’s residence in Nihal Vihar. Investigators are also questioning the detained persons to ascertain the role of each suspect.
